Ingleton Waterfalls

A fantastic venue for the beginner who takes everything in their stride or for the adventurer looking for something a little more extreme. There is something to offer the novice and the more experienced alike.
This canyon is very aquatic and has closed and open sections. It has flumes and steep abseils, not to mention the big jumps.

If you want a full on adventure this is surely for you.

Ingleton Waterfalls

Guided abseil down Snow Falls at Ingleton - canyoning abseil technique down Snow Falls at Ingleton Waterfalls

Set in the beautiful scenery of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail in the River Doe, is a stunning set of waterfalls. Firstly, is Beezley Falls, then Baxenghyll Gorge and finally Snow Falls - make no mistake this arena of impressive waterfalls makes an unforgettable experience!
There is a short walk into the venue along the well-maintained trail to reach the start. From which, you can view the waterfalls you’ll soon be tackling up close and personal. If you have family or friends, they can watch from the trail or stand on the overhead bridges, where they can cheer as you pass way beneath them.
Your Ingleton canyon adventure is full of non-stop fun and thrills. After taking a dip in the pools, you encounter a tremendous natural flume or a jump. This is immediately followed by another flume, shortly after that you take a whizz along a zip-line splashing down into another area. Here you can practice your jumps in readiness for the even-more significant jump to come. There are sections you can float or swim along; then you are straight into abseiling down waterfalls. If you think that’s it, don’t be fooled… there is a massive jump, natural jacuzzi area and more waterfalls to be abseiled! You finally finish up at Snow Falls, an impressive waterfall to finish. You’ll remember this adventure for a very long time, of that I am sure.

To truly experience the most of your canyon adventure, ideally you should have prior abseiling experience or taken part on one of my canyoning trips.

Had an amazing day canyoning for the first time. Couldn't recommend Mountain Rat Adventures enough.
